Frequently Asked Questions

What is "The Play Station"?

The Play Station is an indoor children’s play area. We know how frustrating it is to have nowhere to take your kids when Michigan weather strikes, and we understand the desire to meet up with friends who also have kids. We offer an indoor option for play, free wifi, and a café area for parents to sit and enjoy a snack or some coffee.

How does admission work?

Admission costs $10 per child to enter (Children under 12 months are free with the purchase of any sibling admission, and adults are always free), and you can stay as long as you’d like. All the play areas at The Play Station are included in the admission price—you can play in the magnet area, use the gymnastics equipment, jump on the trampolines, or climb in the jungle gym!

If my child has a membership, who is authorized to bring them to The Play Station?

Since our memberships are attached to the child rather than a specific adult, any responsible adult is authorized to bring the child with a membership. We want to make it convenient for families and caregivers, so you can feel free to enjoy The Play Station with your child, regardless of who accompanies them.

Can I drop my kid off and leave?

For the safety and well-being of all children, we require that an adult accompanies and supervises their child at all times while in our facility. Our priority is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Thank you for understanding.

What ages can play?

This play area is designed for children 0—10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for the child at all times.

Can I bring in my own food?

Yes! We understand there are many people who have food allergies or simply have picky eaters—we want you to feel at home! Bring snacks if you’d like, or visit our food & drink station for a coffee or snack.

Do you have gift cards?

We offer play passes for $10 each, which can be redeemed for one child's admission.

Are you hiring?

At this time, we are not hiring. We appreciate your interest and encourage you to check back with us in the future, as circumstances may change. We wish you luck in your job search!

Party FAQs

Does my child count toward the 10 kids included in the party?

Yes, all children under 16 attending the party are included in the count.

What if I’m inviting kids who already have memberships? Do they count toward the 10?

Yes, all attendees, regardless of membership status, are included in the count as they will have access to the private party room, which is not normally included in membership benefits.

What kinds of decorations/entertainment can I have?

Most decorations and entertainment are allowed. However, we ask that all decorations and party favors (balloons, noisemakers, etc.) remain in the party room to avoid disturbing other guests. Items that pose safety risks, such as bubble blowers that make the floor slippery, are not allowed. Other decorations are permitted as long as the room is left in its original condition, and no holes are made in the walls.

Do adults really need socks?

Yes, for health and safety reasons, we require everyone entering through the front gate to remove their shoes and wear socks.
