Summer Programs
Looking for a fun, engaging experience for your child(ren)—while you enjoy a few hours to yourself? These special drop-off programs are offered on select dates throughout the summer and include guided activities, crafts, games, and plenty of playtime in our space.
Both program types are limited, single-day events (no weekly commitment!) and are not ongoing childcare. They are structured to meet state guidelines for short-term, drop-off activities and do not require childcare licensing.
PLEASE NOTE: Our booking system will show $0 for the class fee to allow booking without full pre-payment. You will receive an invoice for a 20% deposit via email shortly after booking. Spots are not guaranteed until the deposit is received. Reservations without deposit within 24 hours will be cancelled.

FAQs
How do I sign up?
Stop by in person, or follow the link to our booking website. Appointments | The Play Station Click on ‘classes’ to see available dates and programs. We require a 20% deposit on the day of registration, and the remainder of your balance will be due at drop-off for your program. Once you register for a class, you will be emailed an invoice to pay your 20% deposit (check your spam if you don’t see it!) You will also receive a welcome email with all relevant information for your program, including policies and waivers to sign and an emergency contact form to fill out. Please complete these forms at your earliest convenience, as we require them before the date of your program. As always, let us know if you have any questions!
Who is Watching Your Child?
Olivia will be at each program, as well as another adult or two (depending on the program). Olivia has her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and worked in childcare for many years. Any additional adults assisting with the programs have gone through the Name-Based Background Check using Internet Criminal History Access Tool (ICHAT).
“I love any opportunity to help children learn, grow, and have fun! These programs will be a wonderful way to get children active and give parents a small break during the busy summer days. I can’t wait to see you!” - Olivia, Program Leader

Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Potty training isn’t required for participation. We’re happy to support children who are still in diapers or pull-ups, and our staff can assist with changes. Please share any preferences or routines you’d like us to follow.
What type of snacks/lunch will you serve?
For all of our programs, we will offer goldfish, sea salt veggie straws, pretzels, and animal crackers (snack options are subject to change depending on store availability). If you prefer, you may send a different snack for your child. Please be sure the child’s name is on the bag/container. We will also offer water bottles, though you are always welcome to send your own (again, please be sure it has the child’s name on it). We will serve cheese and pepperoni pizza from Hungry Howie’s for lunch (along with one of the snacks mentioned above as a side). If your child prefers something else, you may send a lunch from home.
What about food allergies?
While we take reasonable precautions to be mindful of food allergies, we are not an allergen-free facility due to outside food and beverages being permitted. We recommend that families of children with allergies provide their own food and share any specific care instructions with our staff so we can support their needs.
My child is attending more than one program this summer. Do I need a separate Emergency Contact Form and Policy/Waiver form?
No. As long as you confirm the information we have from the first program is accurate, we can use the same form.
I’m enrolling two children. Do I need separate forms for each one?
You may fill out ONE policy/waiver form that will count for both children, but we do need a separate Emergency Contact Form for each child.
What protocols are in place for child security?
All children (and adults) in the program will wear name tags. Emergency contact info, including allergy and medication information, will be on file for every child participating in a program at The Play Station. ID must be shown by any adult picking up the child (parents included) and ID must match authorized pick-up people listed on the child’s registration forms.
What will the schedule be?
Each program will have a slightly varying schedule. The details can be found on the booking site for the program, and will be reiterated to parents in the welcome email sent after registration.
What if my child is unsure at drop-off or has an emotional issue during the program?
That’s completely normal! Many kids are uneasy leaving their parents, especially in a new setting. We will start each program with time to get comfortable before jumping into our activities. We will do our best to redirect the child to all the fun things we have planned for the program. If necessary, we will contact a parent to decide next steps.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
If you need to cancel, due to illness or any other reason, we will not require your final payment. The deposit for the program becomes non-refundable 72 hours after registration. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible, but understand that things sometimes happen at the last moment. Rough play, climbing on non-designated structures, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the activity without refund. We require pickup by the end time listed on the program. Late pickup will result in additional fees ($1/minute late).
